Meeting with Oleksandr Teren and Ulyana Pchelkina

On May 25, 2024, a meeting was held with two prominent personalities: Oleksandr Teren, a Ukrainian military man, veteran, public figure, author of the book The Story of a Stubborn Man and the inclusive travel show Dump of Legs, or All Inclusive, and Ulyana Pcholkina, a public figure, chairman of the board of the League of the Strong, deputy chairman of the board of the Active Rehabilitation Group, world parakarate champion, TV presenter, accessibility and barrier-free consultant, and barrier-free communication expert.

The event became a real source of inspiration and valuable knowledge for all those present. Oleksandr and Ulyana shared their stories, experiences, and advice on
- how to communicate properly with people with disabilities and veterans;
- what problems people with disabilities often face and how to help them;
- how to make the world more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Oleksandr also presented his book “The Story of a Stubborn Man”.
The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Everyone had the opportunity to ask questions to the heroes of the event, share their thoughts and experiences. At the end of the event, everyone could take a picture with Oleksandr and Ulyana, get autographs and just talk to them. It was a really cool and inspiring meeting!


We sincerely thank Oleksandr and Ulyana for sharing their stories and showing by their example that people with disabilities can live a full life, achieve success and make the world a better place. They are not afraid to talk about the problems faced by people with disabilities, and they are doing their best to make Ukraine more inclusive.
