Together with the Dyvosvit Creative Club, we went to the largest ostrich farm in Ukraine, where we could see from the smallest newly hatched chicks to the largest ones. The children were delighted with the tour, asked many questions to the guide and learned everything about ostriches and their bird families. Most of all, the children remembered how the male ostrich made sounds, which sounded really scary, but we were told that it was a sign that his family was doing well
We would like to say a huge thank you to the Yasnohorodok Family Ecopark for giving us the opportunity to visit their wonderful zoo for free and for telling us a lot of interesting things about ostriches.
It is incredibly cozy and there are many animals to meet.
We can say that it was a kind of pet therapy, because it is even scientifically proven that communication with animals can relieve stress, improve the functioning of the nervous system, and help mental and social rehabilitation.
